ACC Plan Consolidation
ACC Members: Your retirement plan is moving to RPB.
Starting January 1, 2027, ACC’s retirement plan is consolidating with RPB’s plan. That means your retirement accounts—and, if you have them, long term disability and life insurance coverage—will be moving to RPB.
What’s changing
- Your ACC 403(b) account balance moves automatically into a new RPB 403(b) account.
- If you have an ACC supplemental plan account, it stays in place but will be frozen to new contributions after December 31. Any new supplemental contributions after the transition will go into an account in RPB’s Rabbi Trust plan (our supplemental plan).
- Starting January 1, your ACC 403(b) account and, if you have one, your ACC supplemental plan account, will be initially invested in the T. Rowe Price target date fund for your birth year.
- If you have LTD or life insurance through ACC, your coverage continues through December 31, then moves to RPB’s plans on January 1.
- You’ll have access to RPB’s full investment lineup, professional oversight, and support resources—including a new portal, MyRPB for Participants, your homebase for all your retirement and insurance information, with continued access to NetBenefits.
What’s staying the same
- Your login. Both plans use Fidelity for recordkeeping, so you’ll keep using your existing NetBenefits username and password.
- Employer and employee contributions. These continue unchanged under the same formula.
- Loans, withdrawals, or scheduled payments in progress. These continue on their existing terms.
What you need to do
Before January 1:
- Review the target date fund for your birth year, and RPB’s full investment lineup.
- Confirm your mailing address and email are current in NetBenefits, so you don’t miss anything.
- If you have LTD or life insurance through ACC, notify your plan broker, Group Benefit Associates (GBA), that you’re cancelling your coverage to avoid extra charges and premiums.
After January 1:
- Log in to the MyRPB for Participants portal and confirm your retirement and life insurance beneficiary designations.
- Adjust your investments if the target date fund for your birth year isn’t the right fit for you.
